Garden centers and plant nurseries sell annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, vegetables and houseplants, along with soil, mulch, fertilizer, pots and tools. Independent nurseries often grow part of their own stock and carry varieties that do well in the local climate, while big-box garden departments compete on price for common plants. Wholesale nurseries and growers sell to landscapers and sometimes to the public at volume prices; tree nurseries sell balled-and-burlapped and container trees and can deliver and plant large specimens. Specialty growers focus on bonsai, cactus and succulents, orchids or native plants, and hydroponics stores sell lights, nutrients and systems for growing indoors.

Naples is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Naples is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

For the first time, I ordered ginger from Fruition Seeds. In fact, I placed my first order with them about a month ago for some of their seeds and I have two things to say...1.) they have great customer service. Quick to respond, very helpful answering questions and they do a great job getting your order out to you in a timely fashion. 2.) they provide SO many resources to new and experienced gardeners/farmers - and THAT is awesome. It feels great, not only to support small seed companies with these two benefits for customers, but also because they are super friendly, helpful and offer a great selection of seeds!

I have had a wonderful experience with Fruition Seeds. I made a mistake while placing my first order, and Heather fixed the problem and answered my questions promptly and with so much kindness. Shipping was fast, and the quality of the seeds, soil, and grow lights is top-notch. If you're interested in furthering your gardening knowledge, Petra is a fantastic teacher. Fruition Seeds has a range of *free* online courses and webinars and their Flourish Garden Club is definitely worth looking into. I am so happy to have found Fruition Seeds!

Great company. Great seeds. Great customer service. I especially love their beans: pole & bush. Their flowers are delightful too! I just planted their garlic🤞. All the info Petra and the rest of the company distribute through their website and social media is so helpful. From webinars highlighting seed saving techniques or processing calendula (which grew like crazy from Fruition seeds in my not ideal garden) to “PLANT NOW!” posts that tell you what to start, transplant, direct sow and when the planting window for a seed has passed - they lay it all out. Fruition Seeds also provides live Q & A’s covering everything from garden pests to best practices for growing their seeds. I’ve never come across a seed company so invested in their customer’s success. On top of all that, the majority of info offered by them is FREE, based in organic & sustainable practices, and steeped in experience. There are a lot of great seed companies out there but I’ve not found any that go to the lengths that Fruition has to ensure their customer’s happiness. Plant Fruition and open up a whole new world of gardening for yourself.

I picked up starter plants at the farm from Petra and her husband. What a delight to meet them. They are just as sweet and gracious in person as they are on their videos. My plants have been in the ground since Memorial Day and are doing beautifully. Thank you so much for the free seed starting class it has gotten me off to a wonderful start.
